Love the Then and Now's more than anything. I remember the days when it was only the Magic Kingdom and Disney did not have quite a "religeous" following yet. Gotta love the clothing back then and the Florida Orange Bird. That poor elephant lost part of his trunk. Must have flown Delta. (groan)

I think the trunk thing is just the angle it was it. It was down in the "then" pic and up in the "now" pic,

I love these posts! They always remind me of how it was when I was a kid.
Seems like Adventureland hasn't changed TOO much, compared to the others, though!

Adventureland has suffered mostly in loss of fountains and now shows its maturity with the plant life, but otherwise, it's almost as if you could have taken the "Then" photos with today's iPhone and used Instagram to make them look like they were from the 70's!

I have a couple pics to add/update from my Magic Kingdom trip yesterday. Including a new "then" photo for the first set above. Trees are cut back and the new view is splendid.. as pointed out on our Twitter by Foxxy.

I love this series! I sure miss the little 'fuentes' scattered around Adventureland... they added a lot of charm & class.

Outstanding work. Thank you!

Adventureland has had the least changes then all the other lands! I guess that's why it's my favorite land!

PS: I would be freaked out of my mind to have to upgrade Trader Sam. The head is creepy!

Love the series. Let's do BROCOLLI and ham and eggs comparisons
