Intended for Disney's Animal Kingdom, this would resemble the early rides of Disney history, full of lifelike animatronics, breathtaking scenery, and nothing too modern. Based on Walt Disney's own True-Life Adventure series, produced from 1948-1960.
Nice concept art! I like the idea of including some American scenery to the mix. It would compliment the Africa, Asia stuff. (DinoLand U.S.A doesn't count as American scenery.)
Thanks! I agree. Africa and Asia are nice and a good old American presence would be nice in addition. It would have to go in what is currently "Camp Minnie-Mickey".
Can't wait to hear more about the idea. I love the idea of lots of old school animatronics and great scenery. I always love a good boat ride through a show building. It's great that you load and unload outdoors too. Fun ride.
Let's see some more drawings man. Looking good so far. Why don't they make them like they used to. ?
I love looking at the two owls in Splash Mt. Barnaby Owl right? this owl would be a great host to this ride.
And really there should not be any flashy new technology in this ride cause it aint necessary! Old school techniques are still the best techniques i say.
Hey. This site has the best "Armchair Imagineering" concept art I've yet come across. I've set up my own blog showcasing my Armchair Imagineering specialty - conceptual site plans. I've put a link to this site on my blig and would appreciate it if you could do the same.

Cheers.
Randy- Graet site! I posted a link on our links list. Thanks for posting our link on your site.
I like the idea, but with live animals, not animatronics.
